That said, translations would definitely be appreciated by many potential players. In fact, the game is quite good at bringing its (fictional) late medieval setting to life without resorting to historical terminology. The sentences aren't overly long or complicated, and the vocabulary isn't particularly difficult either. If you're able to understand Wikipedia texts, then you shouldn't have trouble with this game. The game and the story are worth it even if you have to look up some words. I would strongly recommend playing this game in English, if at all possible. I remember playing the original Zork back in the 80s with a dictionary by my side - it definitely improved my vocabulary a lot. Games have probably done more for my English than any other medium.
